A life student, Tom is always open to learning new things, improving on things already learned, and knowing when to unlearn things of little or no value. His life quote is, "No fear? Know fear!" - Hayduke

As a mechanical engineer in the electronics industry, Tom had many opportunities to travel; he lived abroad for a year and spent time in Asia, Australia, the South Pacific, Europe, and Britain (Scotland). After retiring he returned to school and completed his AAS Degree in Photography in spring of 2011 and joined the team for the Photography Program the following September.

Tom has a passion for portraiture as he truly loves interacting with people and learning about them while creating images together. He looks forward to each new year with anticipation, wondering who will come through our doors and what they will bring, or more importantly, what they will take!

You can view Tom's work on Tom's website.
