- The A.S. President is responsible for overall management of the
A.S. Senate and its members.
- An all-encompassing position, the President is the strongest
link between the Executive Council, CCS Board of Trustees, and
the students of Spokane Falls Community College in the conduct
of Senate business.
- The President is chairperson for council meetings and the
Executive Council meetings.
Educational Goals: Transfer to a four year college in pursuit of a Masters or Ph.D. in Psychology.
Hobbies: Family, friends, movies, debate, politics, and news.
Clubs: Debate, Young Democrats.

- The Academic VP assists the president and performs
the duties of the president in the event that he/she is not present.
- The Academic VP is responsible for appointing student
representatives to all committees on campus.
- The Academic VP coordinates the student body elections each year,
and is a member of the Executive Council.

- The A.S. Secretary is a voting member of the
Senate and is responsible for recording
the minutes at all Senate meetings.
- In addition, the A.S. Secretary works with the A.S. President,
and Academic and Activities Vice Presidents in preparing the agendas
for all Senate meetings, as well as the Fall and Spring Senate
workshops.

- The A.S. Treasurer is a voting member of the
Senate and a standing member of the
Joint S&A Fee Budget Committee.
- The Treasurer is also responsible for fiscal
accountability of S&A Fees allocated to the Student Government,
A.S. Clubs, and I.R.P. programs, and works very closely with the
Student Funded Programs office.

- The A.W.S. President is a voting member of
the Senate and Activities Board, as well as
a member of the Senate Executive Council.
- The focus of the A.W.S President is
to represent the unique needs and interests of the female students
on campus with the Senate and Activities Board.

- The A.M.S. President is a voting member of
the Senate and Activities Board, as well as
a member of the Senate Executive Council.
- It is the responsibility of the A.M.S. President
to represent the unique needs and interests of the male students
on campus with the Senate and Activities Board.

|
- The Legislative Liaison is a voting member of the Senate.
- This officer is responsible for representing the S.F.C.C. Student Government and students at
legislative meetings at the community college, state, and federal levels when appropriate.
|
|
|
|
- The A.S. Public Information Officer is responsible for the promotion of all
Senate approved events and coordination of public information released by
the Student Government.
- This position is not a voting member of the Senate.
|

|
|
- A.S. Senator #1 is a voting member of the
Senate.
- It is the duty of this Senator to act as a
representative to the students and faculty of Buildings 2, 4,
and 5.
- This Senator is also responsible for making
Senate minutes and agendas available in each of these buildings.
- In addition, Senators assist in the daily
activities of the Senate and participate in special committees.

representative to the students and faculty of Buildings 6, 11,
and 15.
- This Senator is also responsible for making

activities of the Senate and participate in special committees.

- It is the duty of this Senator to act as
a representative to the students and faculty of Buildings 7, 13,
16 and 19.
- This Senator is also responsible for making
Senate minutes and agendas available in each of these buildings.
- In addition, Senators assist in the daily
activities of the Senate and participate in special committees.

- A.S. Senator #4 is a voting member of the
Senate.
- It is the duty of this Senator to act as a
representative to the students and faculty of Buildings 3, 8,
14, and 18.
- This Senator is also responsible for making
Senate minutes and agendas available in each of these buildings.
- In addition, Senators assist in the daily
activities of the Senate and participate in special committees.

The Associated Student (AS) Club Representative
- Shall be a voting member of Senate.
- Shall be a voting member of the Activities Board
- Shall attend all meetings of Activities Board and
SFCCAS Senate.
- Shall be elected from Activities Board.
- Shall be a supporter of club representation by
checking attendance, retrieving reports from absent club from Activities
Board, utilizing Activities office mailbox for communication and insuring
clubs are taking part in special event activities throughout the year,
particularly "Club Days."
- Shall be a participating member of the JSAFBC board.

The Instructionally Related Programs (IRP) Club Representative
- Shall be a voting member of Senate.
- Shall be a voting member of the Activities Board
- Shall attend all meetings of Activities Board and
SFCCAS Senate.
- Shall be elected from Activities Board.
- Shall be a supporter of club representation by
checking attendance, retrieving reports from absent club from Activities
Board, utilizing Activities office mailbox for communication and insuring

- The Faculty Representative to the student
government is a liaison between the Senate and the faculty.
- The Faculty Representative's primary role
is to serve as a resource person for the student government regarding
faculty business that also affects students.

- The Administrative Representative is a voting
member of the Senate.
- The representative brings relevant issues
to the Senate that are currently being addressed at the Administrative
level.
- The representative also takes Student Senate
issues back to the other Administrators.
- This exchange of issues, policies and concerns
helps facilitate communication between students and Administrators.

- This position is filled by the Director of Student Funded Programs.
- It is the Senate Advisor's duty to provide advice, assistance, and information regarding State,CCS
District and SFCC policies and procedures.
- The Senate Advisor is also supportive toward achieving specific goals and implementing ideas initiated
and established by Student Government.
