This marks my third year attending SFCC and my second year proudly serving as a member of the Associated Student Government. As per the territory, I seem to spend a lot of my time in meetings, but when I get a free moment, I play catch with my pup, invent new recipes, take on random art projects, snap photos and create to-do lists. I will own several businesses in the future, so I am working on my A.A.S. in Management but I am also taking just about as many business classes as are offered here.

Between now and becoming a business owner, I may end up at a four-year university honing my knowledge of the inner-workings of a business. Life doesn’t always go the way that I plan it to, so I’m open to the twists and turns that will come my way.

There is a lot to be done this year in Student Government and the team I work with is committed to the success of the students so if there is ever any way that we can assist in making your experience here at the Falls any better, just come in and let us know!

This is my 5th quarter at Spokane Falls and I am planning on entering the Chemical Dependency field next year. I am very excited about working with youth in addiction. I would eventually want to own and operate a Transitional Home for recovering teens in addiction – I’ve named this home Teen Haven for Girls.

I am a Native of Dallas, Texas (GO COWBOYS!) and I have been married 15 year to a wonderful man, Martin, and we have 4 beautiful, fun and craaaazy children ages 18, 12, 13 and 5.

As Academic VP, it is my hope that the Senators and myself will provide you with the tools you need to make many friends, to have fun and to be successful while you are on campus. We are your voice and we want to hear from you!

I was raised on the Colville Indian Reservation in a town called Inchelium by my Mommy. I don’t have a major, but I really like English and Anthropology. As of yet, my favorite class has been Creative Writing. I am a fan of music, movies, and most of all books. I am fond of such things as Pie and Cheese as well as books. I like to use nerdy words that lack proper definitions. I am the second biggest fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I was born in 1975 in Seattle, WA. As a child of a military family, I spent the next 13 years bouncing from base to base until my family settled in Spokane in 1987. After graduating high school I joined the military and enjoyed a short, but fulfilling, enlistment as a hospital corpsman. After the Navy, I continued working in the medical field for a few years until my passion for motorcycles took me to Phoenix, AZ., to study motorcycle mechanics. I graduated from the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute and took as job working for Harley-Davidson. After nearly seven years turning wrenches, I decided to return to school and am currently working on an architecture degree. I am active on campus and in student government.

I am a 28 year old mother of a ten year old boy, and a second year student at SFCC. The things I love most about being alive are music, nature, laughing, and making positive changes. I love to read and write, make collages, and cook and eat delicious food! Some things I does not like are ignorance and close-mindedness. I am at SFCC to get my A.A., and will be transferring to Eastern to get my degree in Counseling Education Developmental Psychology. My career goal is to be a loved and respected high school counselor. This school year I am looking forward to growing the AWS Club and having so much fun!

I have always been a physically active individual. Personal health and wellness are very important to me. I received my certification as a personal trainer earlier this year so that I can get hands-on experience in the health industry. I am now pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering. I am attending SFCC to acquire an A.A. degree so that I can transfer to a four year Washington school. I would like to go to medical school after graduation.

This is my first year at Spokane Falls Community College where I am working on completing my Associate of Arts degree in Elementary Education because, in the future, I want to be a Kindergarten teacher. I love ice cream, pizza, cool ranch Doritos, and now I am addicted to peaches’ cream with half and half poured on top. At home I have a cat named Sydney, who is 15 or 16 years old. I don’t have many hobbies, but the thing I love to do after school is be in the office because my co-workers are some of the coolest people I have met.

I grew up in Cheney, WA., and I am a graduate of both Cheney High School and the Armed Forces School of Music. After serving as a US Army Bandsman, I was contracted by Carnival Cruise Lines as a show band drummer. After returning to the Inland Northwest in late 2004, I opened Phat House Productions - a music and entertainment company. Currently, in addition to holding the position of Senator for District #2, I am pursuing an A.A. degree in Business and Mathematics. I have been married to my wife, Nicole, for almost two years and I have a one year old daughter, Ashlyn. I look forward to representing the Associated Students of Spokane Falls Community College to the best of my ability.

I am 19 years old and was born in the Westside of Haiti. I moved to Seattle when I was four years old. My major in school is business marketing/management; I love just meeting new people, getting to know them, and just like to have fun. I used to play basketball and football for fun back in high school but just because haven’t played in a while…don’t mean I don’t still have some skills… ha. Well I just want to say thank you all for giving me the chance to work with everybody this year in the Student Government office.

I grew up in the small town / village of Colville, WA., This town was good to grow up in but I it came time for me to move on to the big city of Spokane. I like the place. As for my hobbies, I love to go salsa dancing - usually three nights a week. Other hobbies I enjoy are: playing pool, studying business, working out at OZ fitness and just having fun. I am very social and outgoing so if you see me around campus, don’t be shy…. Ask me questions about Senate or just say HI.

I’ve lived in Spokane for only a few short years and I love to spend as much time as I can with my son, Jaiden. I am a visual arts student trying to earn two degrees; one in Photography and one in Multi-media. Since I have been attending SFCC, I have become involved with the Photo Arts Club, as the Vice President, and as the AS Rep for the Activities Board. I enjoy mountain climbing, skydiving, and living in Spokane.

I’ve lived in and near Spokane, WA., for over 20 years now. I have been attending SFCC for a year now and plan to continue attending for another couple of years. I hope to get my A.A. transfer degree and eventually transfer to a four year college over by the coast. I haven’t really decided what I want out of life but I’m happy just taking the journey in finding out. You can also find me hanging out with the Speech and Debate team, as I am an active member. I like most outdoor activities, drawing and just hanging out. I’m also a huge Disney fan.
