The International Club is open to ALL interested students
at Spokane Falls Community college. The Club promotes understanding and
appreciation of different cultures by bringing together students from many
parts of the world - including the United States.
Members of the Club plan and organize cultural, educational,
and social activities which build friendships and unity between the international
and American students at SFCC. Meetings are held every Friday in the Senate
Chamber of the Student Union Building.
Activities of the International Club include: Picnics,
Campouts in area National Parks, casual sports (volleyball, bowling, ice skating),
Holiday Parties (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day), Mardi Gras with the German
Klub, Ski trips, and a year-ending International Club Dinner.
The International Club is very active in the planning of the
campus-wide
International Week.
The International Club is also quite active in Japan Week at SFCC.
All activities of the International Club are free to members.
The International Club is fully funded by the Student Services Office of
Spokane Falls Community College. An SFCC faculty member serves the Club as Advisor.
