Parking on Campus

Guest Parking

A number of 2-hour Guest Parking stalls are located in the P1 Lot off Ft. George Wright Drive. For other locations or longer periods of time, one-Day Temporary Permits are available from the secretary of the nearest building on campus. Faculty, staff and students who have purchased a permit but forgot to place it in their vehicle may obtain a free one-day temporary permit.

Parking Permits

Parking your vehicle on campus requires the purchase of a parking permit. Permits may be purchased for $12.00 (per quarter) from the Cashiers, located on the lower concourse of the Student Union Building. A parking permit is required for all class days and hours, which includes evenings and weekends.

Consult our Campus Map for lots designated for student parking. Disability parking for permanent or temporary disability is available. SFCC enforces its Vehicle and Parking Regulations; violations will incur fines.

Parking Lot near Bldg. 18

Parking Citation Schedule
Disabled Parking Parking without a valid disabled parking permit. $50.00
General Infraction Parking in an unauthorized area, etc. $15.00
Moving Violation Violation of posted speed limit. $20.00
Research Fee Unregistered vehicle owner research fee. $10.00

Note that a parking permit does not guarantee the holder a parking space. Students are encouraged to use alternative transportation. Spokane Transit Authority provides several bus routes to campus at all hours classes are offered.

The hanging permit is designed to allow permits to be transferred to any vehicle. Register all vehicles with the cashier.

Lost or Stolen Permits

Theft or loss of a parking permit should be reported to campus security promptly upon discovery. The permit must be replaced; a replacement fee will be assessed. Recovered lost or stolen permits should be returned to the Cashiers Office immediately. Use of a reported lost or stolen permit may result in a fine, towing and impoundment of vehicle, and revocation of parking privileges.
