SFCC closed to public Aug. 23 until Aug. 27

A major information technology and telecommunications upgrade will temporarily shut down Internet, email and desk phone service at SFCC and all former IEL centers beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22. Services will be restored to all former IEL centers by 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, and to SFCC's Falls Gateway (Bldg. 30) and SUB (Bldg. 17) by 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27. All other SFCC buildings will have Internet and computer services August 27, and phone service will be restored across campus through the day Wednesday, Aug. 28.
IT and telecommunications services at Spokane Community College will not be interrupted.

As a result, SFCC will be closed to the public from 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, until 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27.

All former IEL centers -- except Colville -- will close to the public Friday, Aug. 23, and reopen at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26. Centers affected are Hillyard, Inchelium, Ione, the Lodge, Magnuson, Monroe (Adult Education Center), Newport, Pullman (now a part of SFCC), Republic and Spokane Valley.
