time to complete these steps to getting started at SFCC:
- Decide on a specific degree or program of study.
The VA will only pay benefits for classes required for graduation.
Consult an academic counselor
with questions regarding program content and availability.
- Follow the steps for admission to SFCC.
- Start your application for GI Bill benefits online at:http://vabenefits.vba.va.gov/vonapp/main.asp. Click on Start VONAPP.
Bring your DD214 Member 4 copy and the Certificate of Eligibility from the VA with you. Your VA application may take 6 to 8 weeks to process.
