Technology Plan
Every year Spokane Falls develops a
Technology Plan. This plan begins with input from students and department
faculty identifying their needs. The departments then prioritize these needs and
incorporate them into their Division plan. The combined total of all requests totals
nearly 2 million dollars.
Once identified and prioritized, the college faces the daunting challenge of funding
the Technology Plan. The primary source of funding has been the
Technology Fee, which typically covers about 25% of the Technology Plan. The
Technology Fee funding has provided the college with
state-of-the-art technology resources meeting a significant number of the
instructional and student needs identified in past Technology Plans.
