To support music students of exceptional promise, SFCC's Music program has an endowment scholarship account with the
Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation. Through the donations from our community, faculty, administration and
staff, the Music Department awards scholarships to SFCC’s most promising artists with the goal of nurturing a
vibrant musical culture in Spokane. Music brings joy and meaning to our community, invigorates business downtown,
and provides important and varied opportunities for all voices to be heard and celebrated.
Currently, our endowment allows us to award a total of $1500 per academic year. Our goal is to reach a balance of
$65,000 so that we may award scholarships in larger amounts. If you would like to help support promising artists in
Spokane, donate today to the SFCC Music Student Scholarship account (account #5822). For donation information, visit
the CCS Foundation
Each year the music department awards scholarships to students based on merit and academic performance.
Scholarship applications are due March 1 of every calendar year. Auditions for those applicants who are accepted
will be held before the end of winter quarter and recipients will be notified shortly thereafter.
