Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide students of interior design with the education, skills
and knowledge necessary to succeed in the creative practice of interior design.
We are committed to pursue design excellence by educating students to emphasize
innovation in comprehensive design solutions which capture the human spirit.
Interior Design Programs
The Spokane Falls Community College Interior Design Program offers a
Transfer Track to Washington State University in Spokane, as well as an
Associate In Applied Science (A.A.S.) In Interior Design and an Interior
Design Professional Diploma.

Washington State University Transfer Track
A student can complete three years of interior design coursework at SFCC and then
transfer all program courses to the Washington State University Interdisciplinary Design Institute
in Spokane for the fourth year of study. You can earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior
Design with three years of community college courses and approximately one year
at WSU Design Institute without leaving Spokane.
