SFCC’s Fine Art Gallery features exhibitions from regional, national and international artists, working in a variety of media,
providing a rich artistic experience for students and the Spokane community. Each year we provide a total of eight exhibitions.
Five are dedicated to emerging and established artists from around the country, with work ranging from traditional to non-traditional;
one exhibit shows the current art of SFCC’s own faculty; and two exhibits feature student art—students enrolled in Installation Workshop,
and graduating Fine Art students.
In conjunction with many of the exhibitions, we invite artists to lecture at SFCC and various sites in the community, in order to
provide a fuller understanding of their work. Please see our page on the Visiting Artist Lecture Series.
Funding for our gallery is provided by SFCC Associated Students, Art Gallery, Art Club and the Fine Arts Department. The Sahlin Foundation
provides additional funding for exhibitions and lectures. For further information, please contact Tom O’Day at (509) 533-3746 or
